The William KB Foundation Inc. was established in honor of William KB Chowoe, who passed away after being refused medical care at Firestone Plantation Hospital. This is a religious, educational, scientific, and humanitarian institution. We hold 501(c)(3) status under the Internal Revenue Code and its related provisions of the federal tax code. We treat patients and provide medical services at hospitals, clinics, and other health centers in Liberia and around the world as part of our commitment to bolstering the health delivery systems in nations that lack access to healthcare. Additionally, we are committed to advancing the livelihoods and well-being of women, children, and those in need.
We foresee a Liberia and the world where families and individuals would prosper and live with dignity, having access to basic amenities like education, health care, and social awareness.
The mission of the William KB Foundation is to support medical care. This involves building hospitals, funding education, supporting agriculture, and empowering impoverished and vulnerable patients and their communities to reduce poverty, suffering and meet their fundamental needs.
